MEATtheFACTS.org

Good morning!

I just wanted to share with you the source of the information from yesterday's class.

The website is called MEATtheFACTS.org. The pages I printed out yesterday are from the Urgency category. You can see that page by clicking here.

The name of the website is interesting because meat sounds the same as meet. These two words (meat and meet), have the same pronunciation but different spelling and different meaning. In linguistic terms, this word pair are homophones and are used to create a clever pun.

Try a Google Video search for those two words and see what you find.

Feel free to leave a comment with your thoughts.
